I decided to create this record of the books I read after coming across the site of The Literary Amnesiac - a really interesting blog although we don't agree on the merits of The Faraway Tree (one of my favourites).
Like the amnesiac I have a terrible memory so it's a nice way to remind myself of all the great and not-so-great books I have read over the years.
For the record my all time favourites books are:

> Oliver Twist
